Lloyds Bank


Graham Ellis Associates have extensive experience in working with major financial institutions including Lloyds Bank, the Chemical Bank and Barclays Bank.

The type of work can range from the fitting out of bespoke offices to the Clients Specification altering and refurbishing existing Bank premises sometimes whilst in occupation to complete new Bank redevelopment schemes including Banking Halls, Offices, Staff Facilities etc.

GEA have successfully completed a number of fitting out and refurbishment contracts from Lloyds Bank Eastern region including the fitting out the Area Directors Office in Bishop's Stortford which was carried out over a 10 week period and included the fitting out of premises to our Client's specification including finishing's, mechanical and electrical installations.

In addition, a number of major alteration and refurbishment contracts have been carried out in Bank premises when the bank are carrying out their normal business arrangements. This requires a sensitivity of approach in dealing with Construction works when the Banks customers are in occupation of the building.


As an example, GEA were involved in the alteration and refurbishment works at Lloyds Sawbridgeworth Branch.

The works involved the demolition and alterations to the existing structure, complete refurbishment of the existing Bank premises whilst in occupation, Refitting Banking Hall with new offices, Staff Room etc at first floor level, Coordinating and fitting out the premises to the Clients specification including finishing trades and a complete new Mechanical and Electrical Installation.

GEA have also provided Planning Supervisor Services implementing the requirements of CDM Regulations 1994.

GEA also employ architectural staff to space plan offices for occupation or relocation, providing option models on autocad and other three dimensional programmes.

Charity News:

Graham Ellis has recently raised £1000 for St. Clare Hospice, Harlow, by abseiling down the Veolia Water Tower in Harlow.



Greg Ellis has been elected Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Building.

Tommy Sharman has obtained a BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying.


Coast to Coast Wainwright Walk :

Three generations of the Ellis family Graham, Greg and Georgie (aged 9) completed the Coast to Coast Wainwright walk from Bees Head to Robin Hood Bay - a distance of 192 miles in 11 days in July.

They raised over £2,000 for the South East Essex Gymnastics Club.

Graham Ellis Associates have been appointed Construction Cost Consultants to Oak Estates (Essex) Limited on the Maltings Residential Development in Braintree, Essex.

Graham Ellis Associates have been appointed Contract Administrators by the Knights Templar School in Baldock, Hertfordshire.

Celebrity Charity Golf Day :

GEA Celebrated their 30th Anniversary in style with their Charity Golf day on 30th September raising money for the Presidents Sporting Club who help disabled local children participate in sporting events.

Over 100 people attended the event including John Conteh the former World Light Heavyweight Boxing Champion who ran the auction with great effect.
