Reinforced Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (RAAC)

Reinforced Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (RAAC)

How We Can Help:

The Department for Education has issued guidance urging immediate action to affected schools due to RAAC concerns.

At Graham Ellis Associates (GEA) we are Chartered Surveyors specialising in providing services to the Education Sector, Private and Commercial throughout the UK.

With our wealth of experience, GEA are able to offer you assistance in getting up and running as quickly as possible, with the minimum amount of disruption that the RAAC situation is causing.

Over 150 schools as well as many other Commercial and Private buildings in England have already been identified as having RAAC and have been notified to implement safety measures, or to close areas following failure of the Reinforced Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (RAAC) within the building.

To enable you to continue as “business as usual” the Government has pledged to cover the cost of temporary accommodation (for Schools).

GEA can organise a Structural Survey to be carried out and if RAAC is present, quickly organise the requisite temporary accommodation to relocate staff and pupils, whilst the remedial works are being carried out.  GEA will Project Manage the project from start to finish
